A Round-Table-Recovery-Chat at The University of Sunderland

As the work at Sunderland University progresses, and a Collegiate Recovery Programme is formed, current student and Recovery Connections employee, Sarah, and university alumni, Simon, joined Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager, Justine Gillespie, for a discussion on what we do, and why.

Recorded on site, at the Edinburgh Building, City Campus, staff from Recovery Connections joined Justine Gillespie for an informal, round-table chat about Collegiate Recovery at The University of Sunderland. Comms Manager, Simon Trelfa, graduated from the university in 2016, and reflected on his experience of finding recovery while working towards his degree, while Harm Minimisation worker, Sarah, talked about her dual role as developer of the CRP on campus, and progress of her Health & Social degree at the university.
